I purchased a Microsoft Lifecam VX-700 several months ago, IT ISNOT A VX-7000. It was working find until about a month ago when I upgraded my OS to Windows 7 - 32bit. The camera is recognized by my computer as it shows up in 'Devices and Printers,' and by online chat applications like Skype but not by the Lifecam software.

Despite repeated attempts to unplug the camera and plug it back into every different USB port I have, nothing changes. I have downloaded and reinstalled the software and drivers several times. The Windows 7 compatibility site says that this camera is compatible with 32bit.

Is there anything else I can try to get my webcam fully functional?
